10 Things I Can’t Live Without #MummyMondays

10 things I can't live without

Today I’m sharing a few of my favourite things, things I just couldn’t imagine living without..

1. My engagement ring

My engagement ring is the most special piece of jewellery I own and with it come some really lovely memories.

2. My bed

I think I spend WAY too much time in my bed but it’s so comfy, especially with our new mattress. A year ago we actually painted our bed using Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan. See the before and after here.

3. Longline cable cardi by MIX Apparel

I have this cardi in grey. It cost me next to nothing and I wear it almost every day to keep me warm. You can buy it online here.

4. Coffee

5. Thai green curry

Thai Green Curry

This would have to be my absolute favourite dish. Our local Thai place makes the best and I love the crunch of the fresh vegetables in it.  It has to be hot though, none of this mild stuff!

6. Bellini Intelli Kitchen Master

Now usually in this spot I would have my oven but because I haven’t had an oven for a couple of months because it’s sitting disconnected due to a delay with our renovations, the Bellini has been a bit of a saviour…although I’m really looking forward to eating something baked! You can see a couple of my Bellini recipes here

7. Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Samsung Galaxy Note 3

After being a long time iPhone user, I switched to Samsung and haven’t looked back. This phone also has an amazing camera. I got this one before the new iPhone 5’s came out so it’s a bit old but still great.

8. Sukin Hydrating Mist

Sukin Hydrating Spray

This Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner is seriously good stuff, especially in winter. As soon as I wake up in the morning I spritz a bit of this on my face to wake up my skin and use it during the day to help my skin stay hydrated. It smells wonderful too. Buy it online here

9. My garden

cottage garden

My garden is my peaceful place, it’s where I enjoy pottering, pulling weeds,  cutting flowers, pruning all while I’m off in my own little world. It brings me joy and I just love going out and cutting some roses to put in a vase.  These flowers are just some of the many I have in my garden…seriously, there are heaps more! It’s a cottage garden which very much suits our almost 100 year old workers cottage.

10. My laptop

If I didn’t have my laptop, I wouldn’t be able to blog and I wouldn’t be able to work, so it’s a pretty important piece of technology! I’m thinking though, it’s probably time for an upgrade as this old Dell was purchased in 2010 and has already had her hard drive replaced! So, if you were to do a list of your favourite things, things you couldn’t live without, what would be on the list?

I’m ashamed that my phone and laptop would be as high on the list as they are. But I’m working on it…

Great list! Coffee and my oven certainly rate highly on my list, as do books and chocolate.

  3. June 22, 2015 / 6:36 am

Love this list Eva, especially the bed reno. I do enjoy a bit of DIY. Your engagement ring is beautiful too. Hope you had time to enjoy a few of your favourite things this weekend. Have a good week.

I too have been without an oven now for months! Ours needs a new element and I just keep putting it off. I have a bench top halogen oven and it bakes beautifully! Cheaper to run too.

Oh how true!! I feel so lost without my engagement ring and really struggle sleeping in a different bed! Mind you, I really missed the gardening gene – I’m very jealous of your gorgeous flowers!!!

We share quite a few favourite things! Thai green curry is on my meal plan this week and my Bellini is like a 3rd child 😉

I could not live without my phone! Its permanently attached to me. I am quite fond of my new laptop as well. I have a thermomix but I don’t really use it.. so could probably do with out it! x

Have to agree on the bed & laptop… Or at least my iPad. Oh & my PC for digital Scrapbooking lol chocolate is up there. My body pillow & my foxtel IQ box so I can record everything as I rarely watch my favourite shows live (even if I do now sound tech obsessed lol).

  9. June 22, 2015 / 8:15 am

Brilliant. I love the sound of the refresher. I haven’t seen it before but will have to find it now!

  10. June 22, 2015 / 8:21 am

Great list! I will have to think of my top 10. Would it be a bit sad to include my laminater? ha!

  11. June 22, 2015 / 9:26 am

My coffee machine. I too, drink coffee, for the protection of others 🙂 And for winter, my kathmandu duck down jacket. It’s like wearing a doona, and when it’s -5 and you’re walking to school, a doona is great!

  12. June 22, 2015 / 10:12 am

That hydrating must sounds lovely, will need to check that one out. It’s kind of sad to say but I would be totally lost without my iPhone and also my laptop, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to blog! Other things in my top 10 would be my favourite long black cardigan, coffee machine, books and chocolate!!

  13. June 22, 2015 / 11:02 am

I really like the Sukin Body Lotion. Couldn’t live without my computer.

  14. June 22, 2015 / 12:51 pm

My phone is my life savour … Avocado&feta make me all warm and fuzzy… My electric blanket on these cold winter nights.. and my wine at the end of a long week..

    My dog
    My concealer
Oh hell lets just say my make-up (instant health kit)
coffee – yes – gets me through the early morning interrogations
    My suppliments
    Wine-o-clock.
snacks – for wine-o-clock (well ok they are supposted to go in the lunch box but she’s really not that keen on them…)

My screens – laptop, ipad, Kobu

  18. June 22, 2015 / 7:10 pm

Yes. Since starting my blog my phone and laptop would feature very highly. Also my favourite mug, my lip balm and my diary would all be on that list. Thanks for hosting #mummymonday

I love my engagement ring, but one of the corner bits holding in the stone has been damaged so Im not wearing it at the moment incase the stone falls out. And of course if I didn’t have tea or my laptop I’d be completely lost!

  20. June 24, 2015 / 6:46 am

I swop the engagement ring for the wedding, but otherwise our lists are very similar. Thank you for hosting and have a lovely week
