5 Ways to Declutter Your Bathroom

Our bathroom storage is limited with only the vanity cupboard to store our bathroom ‘stuff’. Recently I turned a ladder shelf into another storage option by using baskets (purchased from KMart) as you can see in the photo. We still have a lot to do to get the bathroom where I want it. Actually, we haven’t done anything with it at all since buying the house 2 and a half years ago.

To me, my bathroom feels a little messy and disorganised no matter how many things are put away so I’m on a mission to find some other smart storage options to declutter my bathroom.

Here are some great ideas I’ve come across:

Hanging baskets for wall storage by Our Fifth House

I simply adore this idea. We have plenty of space above and beside our toilet, a fantastic idea to declutter the bathroom!

I love the thinking behind these hanging wire baskets, they’re really nifty!

Towel rails on your bathroom door from Martha Stewart

Now this is close to being my favourite idea because currently our towel rail is taking up a perfectly good wall on which I could put some nice shelves!!

I saw this idea, went and had a look in my bathroom and there’s so much space above my door! Obviously I won’t go putting regularly used items up there, but it’s still another space saver. Excited!

How cool does this look?  I think I might just steal this idea for the wall that my towel rails are on after I move them to the back of the door!

Still need some more inspo? Why not try using the IKEA Raskog Trolley for bathroom storage too!

I am loving these ideas! As you well know I have no storage in any of our bathrooms, and these ideas are just so quick and easy to incorporate. Thank you for linking up with #HIT xx

Love the idea about a shelf above the door – clever.
I recently bought some white suction containers that have holes for the water to drain out the bottom from IKEA for the bathroom. They have cleaned up all those bath toys and all the shampoos and bath gels are up high and neatly stored.
PS the suction caps so far appear to be strong but I assume would only work well on tiles.

These are all such great ideas, we have the same small bathroom issues as you. Love the idea of a shelf above the door, so clever!!
