Getting out of the house to catch up with friends over coffee or at dinner is important to me. Every now and then I love to just go out for lunch or dinner with Mr. G and Elliott because it’s just something we don’t do often. But the only thing that can get a little tricky is having a toddler in tow, a toddler that would much prefer to run around and play instead of being stuck in a highchair listening to adult conversation. You always have to come prepared and just can’t expect these little ones to sit and remain happy and calm and so, stuffed into your bag is always a myriad of toys that will hopefully keep them entertained long enough.
Finlee & Me, an online store with lovely products for kids, were kind enough to send me a couple of awesome products to try out with Elliott, and gosh were they both winners in my book and Elliott’s!
Fold “N” Go Car Mat
We have a big carpet car mat at home and I don’t think I’ve ever seen Elliott use it, but when I pulled out the Fold “N” Go Car Mat for the first time when I was out having coffee with a friend, Elliott just loved it (and so did his little friend)!
The reason I love the Fold “N” Go Car Mat from Finlee & Me is because for starters, it comes in a gorgeous fabric, it folds up nice and flat to easily fit into a handbag and it has 5 little slots to store the matchbox cars. It is also very easy to clean, you just need to wipe it down.
Oh and, you know how all kids love playing with balloons but you’re worried about them chewing on it, choking or the balloons always seem to pop? Well this is another reason why this balloon ball is awesome, the material cover over the balloon reduces the risk of all of these things! Oh and it’s washable! Win Win!
But I hear you ask ‘How on earth can this ball fit in a handbag?’ Well, watch this video of me demonstrating the balloon ball and you’ll see how! It’s brilliant!
|Elliott loves his balloon ball. It’s safe to play with in the house without knocking things over!|
