Today I’m sharing a few of my favourite things, things I just couldn’t imagine living without..
1. My engagement ring
2. My bed
I think I spend WAY too much time in my bed but it’s so comfy, especially with our new mattress. A year ago we actually painted our bed using Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan. See the before and after here.
3. Longline cable cardi by MIX Apparel
I have this cardi in grey. It cost me next to nothing and I wear it almost every day to keep me warm. You can buy it online here.
5. Thai green curry
This would have to be my absolute favourite dish. Our local Thai place makes the best and I love the crunch of the fresh vegetables in it. It has to be hot though, none of this mild stuff!
6. Bellini Intelli Kitchen Master
Now usually in this spot I would have my oven but because I haven’t had an oven for a couple of months because it’s sitting disconnected due to a delay with our renovations, the Bellini has been a bit of a saviour…although I’m really looking forward to eating something baked! You can see a couple of my Bellini recipes here.
7. Samsung Galaxy Note 3
After being a long time iPhone user, I switched to Samsung and haven’t looked back. This phone also has an amazing camera. I got this one before the new iPhone 5’s came out so it’s a bit old but still great.
8. Sukin Hydrating Mist
This Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner is seriously good stuff, especially in winter. As soon as I wake up in the morning I spritz a bit of this on my face to wake up my skin and use it during the day to help my skin stay hydrated. It smells wonderful too. Buy it online here.
9. My garden
My garden is my peaceful place, it’s where I enjoy pottering, pulling weeds, cutting flowers, pruning all while I’m off in my own little world. It brings me joy and I just love going out and cutting some roses to put in a vase. These flowers are just some of the many I have in my garden…seriously, there are heaps more! It’s a cottage garden which very much suits our almost 100 year old workers cottage.
10. My laptop
If I didn’t have my laptop, I wouldn’t be able to blog and I wouldn’t be able to work, so it’s a pretty important piece of technology! I’m thinking though, it’s probably time for an upgrade as this old Dell was purchased in 2010 and has already had her hard drive replaced! So, if you were to do a list of your favourite things, things you couldn’t live without, what would be on the list?
It’s party time! Link up one of your favourite posts from the past week, enjoy some reading and share some comment love! Go!
