A Baby Shower Fit For a Little Princess #MummyMondays

Yesterday I went to the coolest baby shower ever! There were stroller relays, a baby making competition and an ice-cream parlour. And would you believe, the Mummy-to-be was the one responsible for the amazing designs and set up. Everyone keeps telling her that she must go into business one day when the baby is older because her creative flair is truly amazing.

Here’s a bit of an inside look into the amazing things my friend created. Perhaps they may inspire those who have the responsibility of organising a baby shower in the future.

You could build your own burger, choose your favourite type of bread and take home a bottle of hot sauce!

Here’s the ‘make a baby’ stand. Some got a little carried away, including my husband who won with his figure of the dad-to-be sitting playing X-box in front of a TV with a figure of the Mum-to-be on the side in labour. I think the rules were pretty relaxed.

What creative (or whacky) ideas have you seen at baby showers?

What an amazing baby shower! A friend had one of those way too graphic Cakes at her baby shower. It was pretty funny but also pretty unappealing to eat. I realised I haven’t added your button to the post. Will do that as soon as I can get back on my computer.

This is TRULY impressive party and she really should go in to business or at least hire herself out for friend’s parties! Thanks for featuring me, very much appreciated. Have a great week and thanks for linky 🙂

Hi Alicia! The ice-cream parlour was amazing, and the icecream tasted great too! The cross post thing has to do with Networked Blogs which I’m a part of, and because I’m part of it they’ve implemented it on my blog automatically but I think I’m going to take it off. It has to do with being another way to share posts.

I tend to not get too attached to houses. Once they are sold & we are in the new house I move on. I was very attached to the second house we owned because I met my hubby and had my babies while in that house. I tend to focus more on the actual location than the actual house. Best of luck in your new home xx

I’m guessing you’re long since settled into your new home now! We’re in a similar situation at the moment, renting but our landlord has just advised that he is putting the house on the market when our lease ends in May. We’ve been here 4 years now, lots of memories, moving on is exciting but sad at the same time.

What a great house you sold, bet it was hard to leave? How is the reno going? We built a new home, wish we knew back then what we know now!

Wow, it looks like it was an amazing baby shower. Those play doh figures are a little too graphic for me! I must admit, I’ve never had a baby shower!

It’s always the way, isn’t it? We were the same with our last house – once we cleaned it up and did all the things we always meant to do, it was too late to truly enjoy it. I hope your new house is just as you want it to be!

I haven’t owned a house but I live in hostel type accommodation before the house that I live in now and there are some interesting tales I could tell from that place!

Having moved 22 times, I’m rather over it. We still need to do up our NSW property so we can sell and finally buy over here in Perth and I’m not looking forward to it one bit.
