For my 34th birthday this year, my mother and father-in-law gave me this gorgeous DIY jewellery organiser. And guess what? They so kindly took step by step photos on how to make it which I’m so happy to be able to share with you.
Who would have thought you could turn a plain old wooden coat hanger into a jewellery hanger like this. It’s so pretty and practical and a brilliant idea for a DIY gift!
Steps to make a Jewellery Organiser
Sand down the coat hanger so the surface is smooth to paint.
Cover the hook with masking tape to protect it from the paint.
Spray the coat hanger with your selected colour of spray paint.
Measure out where you’d like to place the hooks.
Screw in the hooks.
Using a hot glue gun, add some embellishments.
Hang your jewellery!
Pin for later!
