DIY Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Mother’s Day is just around the corner and I don’t think there is anything Mums like better than a gorgeous handmade gift, it’s both sentimental and the kids can have some involvement. What Mother’s Day gifts do you most enjoy?

All Mums need a bit of pampering. Make your own Spa & Pampering Jar (with free printable labels) – from Classy Clutter.

Add a free chalkboard printable to a lovely white frame – from Fox Hollow Cottage.

Mums would love to soak their feet in a homemade Lime & Mint soak – from TidyMom.

Keen gardeners will love a Gardening Gift Basket (with free printable tags) – from Echoes of Laughter.

Some yummy smelling Homemade Lemon Soap – from A Pumpkin & a Princess.

Get crafty and make some paper flowers, they’ll last longer than the real thing too! – from It All Started with Paint.

Why not get painting and make a Handprint Apron – from Simply Kierste.

Include a decorated Mother’s Day Vase with flowers – from A Pumpkin & a Princess.

What DIY Mother’s Day gifts are you making this year?

This is MY first mothers day WOOHOO. I doubt bub will be doing any of these for me just yet, but I have to say I LOVE Shannon’s free chalkboard printables. They’re awesome so glad I found her site because I’m a bit obsessed with the chalkboard craze at the moment.

I think you’ve encouraged me to do a photo on a canvas for my mum of the grandkids, she’d love that! Lovely images xx

I have to get into the Mother’s Day shopping thing! I must say I love the catalogues and emails at this time of year – all devoted to shopping for stuff women love! No idea yet what I am buying my Mum or hoping to receive!

I am so looking forward to my first kindy mums day gift from Izzy! I love the pamper presents, I could do with a good pedicure, even if I have to do it myself! I am going to have the girls onto something for their nanna 🙂

I remember those little presents from when I was at school. I’d have to say I love receiving handmade gifts and cards. I hope you get that pedicure!

Not a problem lovely! I’m so glad you love my blog, I tend to be a bit hard on myself about it some days! x

Thanks Sarah. They are great aren’t they, so easy. I’ve prepared the gardening kits for my Mum and MIL…a bit different but the same idea. Love it.

Yes, definitely hint about the page :). I wouldn’t mind the pamper jar to be honest!

I haven’t seen many catalogues because I’m one of those people with a ‘no junk mail’ sign…the guy delivers every day and it was just getting crazy!

  17. April 30, 2014 / 6:22 am

Yes, definitely do a photo canvas, they just make a photo come to life!

Oh I’m so glad Winnie, it really is very ‘ME’. I know, I really want to try to make the handmade soap to replace what we use!
