The Multitasking Mummy’s First Audio Blog!

The Multitasking Mummy Audio Blog

Yesterday I had an absolute lightbulb moment. I looked at the mountains of magazines and newspapers on my table and thought about the lack of time I had to read and wished I had more time. I realised that I wouldn’t be the only parent in this situation and thought that if this was the case, perhaps it would make it hard for some people to get the time to read my blog. So, I decided to start an audio blog and give my audience the option to ‘listen’ to my blog instead! This is also a great option for those people who don’t like reading and prefer to listen.

The great thing about an audio blog, especially for busy parents, is that you can listen to it while you exercise, while you’re in the shower or even while you’re making dinner. At the moment my audio blog is only available via my website (below) and will show at the bottom of relevant posts. You can also get it on iTunes here (how cool is that, I never thought I’d have something on iTunes!) Google Play is in the works. Yahoooo! I’m excited!

At the moment, this first Audio Blog covers posts for a week, but I’m thinking I may do each post individually for easier and faster listening. Ideally, I’d like to keep each Audio Blog a maximum of 5 minutes.

Hehe, thanks Emily. It’s so weird listening to my own voice but I have to remember that others probably think differently!

It is a bit cutting edge isn’t it, I like to be ‘up with the times’ so to speak. Thanks!
