WIN a Bobble Art Pack

I was first introduced to Bobble Art earlier this year when I went into one of their stores for the very first time and absolutely fell in love with their gorgeous backpack and lunch sets, so much so that I bought a little backpack and matching drink bottle for my friends son’s first birthday.

When I was asked if I’d like to run a giveaway for my readers, of course the answer was yes because I adore their product!  Bobble Art products add an extra element of fun to school with their gorgeous range of products in a variety of collections including Dinosaur, Jungle, Ballerina and Woodland.

It’s not just school products either, we have the Dinosaur themed cabin luggage bag which Elliott can’t wait to use on our trip to the USA next month.  Can’t you tell he loves his new dinosaur bag? He’s already used it for a stay at his grandparents place! The thing I love about the products is that they are so colourful and the bags are very sturdy.

Ooh, I’d love to put these away for my little man who starts school next year! As for spring holidays – September is always festival season in Brisbane. That means we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to shows, art exhibitions, author tours and other things that are great for the whole family to enjoy! It’s a chance for me to share my love of all things cultural with the kids, while they take a well-earned break from routine 🙂

The warmer weather bringing us and the community out of hibernation – there are so many local activities to see and do – NEVER do I hear the coined phrase of ‘IM BORED’

Spring is when our garden springs back into life! My kids and I always try to pick the brightest and prettiest flowers and the carefully press them in my grandmother’s beautiful old flower press 🙂 In the past we have been lucky enough to find four leaf clovers and have immortalised them in our flower press!

It’s still nice enough in the Spring holidays to go walking and geocaching without getting too burnt or hot. It’s also the best time to clean, again not hot enough to make you feel like you can’t do anything!

Spring school holidays means it’s warm enough to have some water fun! We love going to the waterpark at the local pool and playing at the beach. Also the council puts on a Teddy Bear’s Picnic in the botanical gardens and it’s such a lovely day out.

Spring school holidays are my absolutely favourite, for a few reasons. I always find that leading up to these holidays my children get especially exhausted, the third term seems to go so long and it always seems to have so much crammed into it. We all just hang out for that chance to have some lazy days and also some lovely outings now that the weather is finally decent enough. I live in Adelaide and this winter has been particularly cold and long so we will most definitely be making the most of the nicer weather and getting out and about. The beach and a trip to the Adelaide Hills is most definitely on our to-do list. I can’t wait!

Spring is the perfect weather. Not too hot, not too cold. Once the cold and dreariness of winter has passed, it’s like the world has come out of hibernation. It’s great to have the time to go for a walk and listen to the birds and watch the butterflies. And spring holidays are the best because you get to make the most of the beautiful weather.

Spring school holidays are our favourite. Whilst we don’t have a set plan of what we want to do, our days are filled with fun. We visit the Royal Melbourne Show, and tiptoe through the tulips at the Tesselaar Tulip Festival, which is such a brilliant day out. We picnic in the park, catch up with friends, visit the local library for free school holiday activities, and we also have a pyjama day (this is one of the kids’ favourites!!)
    Bring it on!! 🙂

That winter has gone and is but a memory and it’s just a memory and its’ time to play with the kids as it;s spring holidays,

  31. September 18, 2015 / 9:25 am

Neither of my kids are at school yet, so the only way Spring School holidays affects us (other than making all our favourite places busy!!) is the cool school holiday shows and activities on at shopping centres and what not. 🙂

It’s actually warm enough to get outside and do something together with the family and kids.. There’s so many more options when the sun is shining and you don’t have to spend a lot of money.. you can even do things at your own home and garden.

Brisbane City Council has so many great (free!) activities so we’ve made a terrarium, patted native animals and crafted a puppet theatre and it’s only week one! Oh, and I love having take-away lunch most days, no packing a lunchbox for him or ham on toast for me like during school terms.

    September 23, 2015 / 5:36 pm

    September holidays are fun
Getting outside again and enjoying some sun,
We love picnics at the botanical gardens,
Or even shopping at the local market for bargains,
Most of all we love to go to the park,
Spring holiday fun playing till dark!
