Bellini Intelli Recipes: Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 3 overripe bananas
  • 1 cup raw sugar
  • 3 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 130°C. (Yep, it's low, but there's a reason for that!)
  • Grease and loaf tin and <g class="gr_ gr_1788 gr-alert gr_spell ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="1788" data-gr-id="1788">linewith</g> baking paper.
  • Add the bananas to the Bellini bowl and pulse for 2 seconds.
  • Add the sugar, bicarb of soda and salt to the Bellini bowl and mix on speed 3 for 30 seconds.
  • Add the eggs and the oil, pulse 'till combined.
  • Add the flour and then mix for 20 seconds on speed 3
  • Add the buttermilk and then mix for 20 seconds on speed 3.
  • Pour the mixture into the greased tin.
  • Pour the mixture into the greased tin. Set to bake for 2 hours or until the banana bread is ready when a skewer comes out clean.
